The Lakeshore REALTORS® Association is a member-driven organization. This means we need YOU to ensure the future direction and success of the LRA. Serving on the Board of Directors can be a fulfilling way to make a positive impact in your community, grow as a leader, and contribute to your industry. It's a valuable opportunity that will benefit you personally and professionally, and also benefit the association membership you serve.

The LRA is recruiting candidates for the 2024 Board of Directors. Current openings are:

One (1) Affiliate Director, 2-year term

Four (4) REALTOR Directors, 2-year term

The board meets monthly on Wednesday mornings, from 9am - 10:30am. Each member is expected to join at least one committee and act as a liaison between that committee and the board. The time commitment depends on your level of responsibility, but first-term members typically spend around five hours per month on board duties.

Serving on the Lakeshore REALTORS® Association Board of Directors provides an opportunity to contribute to your community, enhance your leadership skills, and become actively involved in real estate industry-related outreach and events.

  • Personal and Professional Development
You'll gain leadership experience in decision-making, strategic planning, and teamwork. You will hold responsibilities such as budget management, event planning, and policy development. These skills will make you a more well-rounded professional, which is valuable in both your career and personal growth.
  • Community Involvement
Serving on the board allows you to actively participate in shaping the future of the LRA. You'll have the chance to influence decisions that affect both the development of the association and community involvement. By volunteering your time and expertise, you can contribute to the advancement of local real estate professionals and help improve the lives of members of the community.
  • Association Growth
Your involvement can help the Lakeshore REALTORS® Association grow and thrive. This, in turn, can lead to more robust resources and support for members, building the LRA into an even more valuable organization for real estate professionals in Ozaukee and Sheboygan Counties.
