After serving in ER for over 20 years it was time for a new adventure: Real Estate. I have found (and my colleagues can attest) that if there is a difficult case, I will be sure to attract it! (There is even research that indicates that nurses & social workers unconsciously attract people with problems to solve.) I love this because one of my favorite aspects of both nursing & real estate is trouble-shooting.

My ability to tackle problems will be brought to any position I may have. My interest in the board is because I like to "dig deep" to find solutions. The more i practice in real estate, the more fascinating I find it!

With years of customer service experience before becoming a real estate agent in 2002, I’ve learned the importance of listening to clients and providing clear, consistent communication. My comprehensive understanding of real estate trends and the unique ups and downs of the local market allows me to craft customized action plans for each client. I guide them through the home buying and selling process with minimal stress and unexpected surprises, always keeping their best interests in mind. Clients often become friends, which is the most rewarding part of this business for me.

This experience will be an invaluable asset as I pursue a position on the board of directors. I’ve developed key skills in communication, problem-solving, and decision-making, and I’m adept at understanding diverse perspectives to find solutions that benefit everyone involved. My ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate complex situations will help in addressing the challenges the board may face. Additionally, my deep understanding of market trends, strategic planning, and goal-focused action will allow me to contribute to the organization’s growth and success. Above all, my dedication to putting people first aligns with the core values essential for board leadership.

I have been a real estate agent for over 18 years, and helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs is something I truly enjoy. I believe I bring a high level of compassion and understanding to the real estate process. Since every client’s needs are unique, I’ve learned to adapt to the varying requirements of each transaction, which is something I love about my job—no two real estate transactions are the same!

I am excited about the opportunity to join the Lakeshore Realtors Board and contribute in whatever capacity is needed. Over the years, I have been actively involved in several non-profit organizations, including parent groups when my children were younger, church organizations, and the YMCA. I look forward to bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the board and helping the organization continue to thrive.

My passion for real estate began while working in a management role at a small commercial firm, where I enjoyed helping tenants find the right locations and managing large projects. After transitioning to residential real estate and earning my sales license in 2012, I joined Red Arrow in 2016 and have loved being part of the company’s growth. Having lived in Cedarburg for 14 years and growing up in Ozaukee County, I have deep knowledge of the local communities. I pride myself on treating others with honesty and integrity while helping clients sell their homes or purchase their dream homes.

As I run for re-election to the board of directors, my prior service as board president has given me valuable leadership experience in strategic planning, collaboration, and transparent decision-making. I am eager to continue contributing my real estate expertise, local knowledge, and commitment to integrity. I believe this experience positions me well to support the board’s mission and help drive our continued success in the years ahead.
